Hermosa Beach Thanksgiving Changes: Trash Delayed, Street Sweeping Not Enforced November 26–27

HERMOSA BEACH, Los Angeles County — The city has published its Thanksgiving service schedule for Thursday, November 26, 2026, including changes to trash pickup and street-sweeping enforcement.

Trash collection will not occur on Thanksgiving Day, with the remaining collections that week delayed by one day. The city also says street-sweeping restrictions will not be enforced November 26 and 27, although other parking rules remain in effect. A suspension of street-sweeping enforcement is not a general exemption from posted parking restrictions.
